-Knife sharpening is $1.50/blade inch with a $5 minimum per knife for knives in fair to good condition. Knives in poor condition that require extensive work, such as edge reprofiling, chip repair, tip repair, etc., will incur an additional $5 charge, going up in $5 increments, depending on the amount of work needed. Any additional charges beyond $5 per knife will be confirmed before the work is done.
-Knives can be dropped off any day of the week we are open but I do most sharpening on Sundays and Mondays when the restaurant is closed, so the best day to drop knives off is Saturday so that I can have them ready for pickup Monday afternoon or Tuesday. Knives can also be dropped off on Sundays or Mondays by appointment.
-When you drop off your knives, make sure they are clean and free of any food debris, oil, and grease. Dirty knives will incur a $5 cleaning fee per knife. If you do not have edge guards, please wrap the knives in a clean towel or newsprint so that the blades do not touch and label them with your name and phone number so that I can text you about any additional charges and let you know when they are ready.
